IVC’s Circle K International Club Recognized at Annual District Convention


The Irvine Valley College (IVC) Circle K International Club attended the annual California-Nevada-Hawaii District Convention March 23-26 in Los Angeles, California. Over 700 Circle K members from colleges across the district gathered for educational workshops, leadership training, service projects, and to celebrate a year’s worth of accomplishments. The IVC Circle K Club won numerous awards, competing against dozens of other schools, including UCs and CSUs. IVC Circle K students took home the following awards: 

  • 1st place in Growth Enhanced Membership (40%) for Emerald Division
  • 100% Monthly Report Forms on time (reports to the district about club events)
  • 3rd place for Outstanding Traditional Scrapbook – Irina Rochon
  • Distinguished Treasurer – Chloe Wang
  • Distinguished President – Ellie Bui

The following students were awarded through the Membership Recognition Program for their outstanding service to the community:

IVC Circle K would like to thank the Kiwanis Club of Irvine and ASIVC for their generous support that allowed 11 student club members to attend this year’s district convention. 

The club meets at 4 pm every Thursday in A 307A.
