What We Offer

The Office of Marketing and Creative Services offers a wide range of services that support the marketing of Irvine Valley College to both internal and external audiences. We work with members of the campus community to create exceptional print and electronic materials that best communicate the client message. While many of our projects encompass multiple services such as design, writing, editing, photography, broadcast services, social media, web design, and marketing, we also handle projects that may require only one of these services.

Design and Editorial Services

Our staff are marketing experts who use a creative approach and work with you to develop products that suit the needs of your programs and audience. Our services include design, copy writing, editing, advertising, photography, and graphics creation.

Specific projects include but are not limited to class and event flyers, brochures, event programs, posters, signage, and other marketing collateral.

Broadcast Services

Broadcast Services creates educational programming for use by IVC faculty and staff. College lectures, events, orientations, classes, and various college performances are recorded when requested, and as time permits. Irvine residents with Cox Cable can view IVCTV on Channel 33 and AT&T.

Public Relations

We promote student and faculty accomplishments as well as campus events. Our audiences can include the college community, local residents, and/or local and regional media outlets. For media inquiries, contact MCS Executive Director Diane Oaks or call 949-451-5277.

Crisis Communications

MCS is responsible for IVC’s Crisis Communications plan and protocols, which will guide the college in promptly sharing information with all of IVC’s audiences during an emergency or crisis.

Social Media

Social media is a tool for promotional engagement. At IVC, we promote educational programs and campus events that enable students to become further engaged in the campus community. Our focus is to communicate and market messages that are representative to the college. IVC is currently active on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. We advise and oversee campus departments on how to set up their own social media accounts, and provide “best practices” training workshops to help departments decide which social media platform is best suited for their needs.


We maintain the design, layout and architecture of the IVC website. Our team works with each department to generate web content in a clear and concise manner that stays true to the identity of IVC, while communicating the message of the department.
